By utilizing hardened aluminum alloy, Box has engineered a bar that significantly reduces unnecessary mass while maintaining the elite stiffness required for competitive BMX racing. These bars leverage Oversized Technology to ensure that every ounce of rider input is converted into immediate on-track performance.
These handlebars serve a critical dual purpose: they enhance steering precision and provide a rigid "backstop" to the "lifting" phenomenon. This stiffness is essential during explosive pedaling; if your handlebars deflect when you pull up, you lose power.
