This integrated locking system features an alloy top-cap; exceeding 5.5Nm will strip the threads. Maintain a 4-5Nm range for maximum front-end stiffness without compromising your headset. Ensure your allen wrenches are sharp, as rounded tools will damage the alloy screw, top-load stems, or lock-on grips hardware.
